One penned a poem
a picture on each page—
scrapbook to pass down
to tell a fairy-tale
or share a nightmare…
Summer Grass
Back against the grass,
marshmallow clouds pass…
Inner child,
come out to play!
Let’s imagine
once more today…
Word Watercolors
She paints a poem,
on the wall of her mind—
watches the paint dry
Lovely chapbook!
Through My Good Eye: A Memoir in Verse by Rebecca L. Holland
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
All can relate to the poetry in this lovely chapbook! I paused and reflected after each poem, and I plan on rereading this book (not to miss any feelings behind the words). “A Wish” was one of my favorite poems…as I have a passion for reading and writing. Rebecca inspires me, and I enjoy following her on Twitter and Instagram. God bless! 🙂
